Once Again, My Friend

 

The time has come for you and me

For us to meet again

We’ve come round, full circle now

And still call each other friend

The things we were and did and done

Have not left our memory

The times we’ve had and laughs we’ve shared

Are still as plain to see

Older, wiser, do we tread now

But better than before

We’ve done so much, and been there too

But still we strive for more

Is this the way that things are to be

And steadily maintain?

Are we to go on this same road

And travel it again?

This is the time we have awaited

Where we become our own

We shall prevail, and carry on

And this time, not alone…
