I Have A Cat In My Lap

Looks like I am not going anywhere for a while......

 

I have a cat

She sleeps in my lap

She sits, and gently dozes

She perks her ears

When others come near

With mewling and wet noses

But she hardly stirs

And she only purrs

And does not move a bit

So here I remain

Not leaving again

For in my lap, she sits

Ha ha ha, I have so been there. My cat is so small (even though she's full grown) and I'm always so reluctant to disturb her peace when she goes to sleep on my shoulders.
The poem was great and reminded me of those timeswhen I sit relaxing with her and listening to her purr.

haha i like the qoute at the top i read it after i read the poem threw so it made it fit very well..lol..i think this is cute..i am not a big cat fan i like kittens though..i am more of a dog person but either way i can still relate to the company of a pet..and how they long for your attention and if they feel you are not giving them enough they know how to get it..lol..I loved the read..
