The Sun's Eclipse

something silly and random i came up with like 5 days ago lol

A never ending blitzkrieg.

A lengthy tirade on my gay parade.

I just want to shine

So I'm evading the shade.

Sippin' on some lemonade 

With a cyanide aftertaste.

Take a dip inside a pool

filled with Texas Tea

And come out love drunk 

on stupidity.

The work is great. I love the painting but dear I am still trying to relate the Title to the poem. The title and the picture goes. The poem is significant standing alone, but I can't marry it with the Title. Help and explain your thoughts to me please.

I actually came up with the title before I choose the picture and started writing lol. An eclipse obscures light and the poem talks about how the good things I do/have are trying to be ruined or end up not working out. I really wrote this out of the blue and with a playful tone, so everything probably doesn't make as much sense as I thought it did before 😂😂

It looks like our writing styles can be similar when we are feeling silly! I love it. Nicely rhymed, good uninhibited word choices, but also packed with meaning. I very much prefer this type of rhyming to the ones that don't make much sense. Thanks for the friend request (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
