Wind Without Air

Wind Without Air

A Poem by Nayeli
"

The second poem to the pair bond.

"
Seeing it, but never feeling;
You see wind, but feel air.
But I’m in a new state of being
due to a world so unfair.

Haunted by its shadow;
the memories of his lost tomorrow.
A being who stands for both happiness and sorrow
His legend set; a lost battle.

Reminisce all you like, little girl,
take your dolls, go and play...
Until Hell's chilling flames unfurl
and take your wind away.

But still we remain,
We're always changing, yet stay the same.
Never learning, always cheating;
always burning, the fire we're feeding.
Constantly hurting, people leaving.
Of all the people who went and came,
the movie keeps on being replayed...

without an end.

You smell wind, and breathe air
the difference plain as day...
but the knowledge of it always...slips away...

this, my dear, was a great stanza. What a wonderful work of art; does this speak to a loss, then? Or is it only my interpretation? Whatever it is, that's what we feel, and strongly so... Right to the heart, and the gut - sucking away all of the air. Very well done.
