My new reality

My new reality

A Poem by Nina Frank
"

My future life and 1/8 of my wishes concluded in words.

"
If I lived where I loved,
where I did what I love,
if I loved what I see,
oh where would I be?

Breathing in yellow,
exhaling the red,
If I loved where I was,
dreams wouldn't be dead.

'Cause surrounded by art,
big stories and paths,
dead souls are alive,
still sharing their love.

Fresh mornings of warmth,
and time to create,
if nights never came,
and hours couldn't get late.

Excess of creativity
and space to think.
If living meant simply
paper and ink.

Then I'd wear smiles,
true ones, you'd see,
how complete I'd be
in my new reality.

I love this poem, it's one of my favorites. I especialy love the stanza- ' Excess of creativity and space to think. If living meant simply paper and ink.' Your word choice throughout the poem is very clever. Well done, keep up the great work.
