Why you flew away?

Its a poem about the aftereffect of death

Why you flew away leaving me alone!!

Had I not loved you as my own…

You flew away caring for none,

Shattering hopes,pushing me into an inky zone!!

I know the cage was suffocating,

Was not my concern,care,affection compensating???

Our bond,Was it so frail?

Couldn’t it last till the end of the trail?

My heart yearning for your company,

World’s most desirable giving no harmony…

Your belongings are longing;

Come back to me are they echoing..

I want to feel & register your presence,

Wanna get a purpose of my existence…

Tears will dry,sobs will die!!

I will live,time will fly…

Harsh truth within it lie;

Deepest wound healer all rely…

Empty cage,empty my eyes,

Searching you but cannot find…

Life now devoid of all colourful dyes,

No one can feel the void left behind…

Wow. Loved this. Very well written I loved the metaphors you have used. These are the most heart touching lines:
