The french brings out the anger in this though, so really I'm glad you put it in this write. As I read it, I kinda read it more as a rap than a poem. But this is still a great write. Good job!

Actually I'm more concerned as to why you have a link up there, linking to a Facebook description of LIKE. I'm hoping it's some random experimental advertising from Writer's Cafe - but I'm not sure.

As for your poem (song ?), if you placed the link deliberately to describe a LIKE in Facebook. Perhaps I can help. I'm a longtime user of Facebook and have thousands of friends in there, mostly from the Philippines.

When I click LIKE on something it means, quite simply, that I LIKE what I am reading or seeing. It does not denote that I love that person, or maybe even like them personally, but that i LIKE what they wrote at that time. The content, not the person.

There is a chance I won't like anything else they do, that is possible. So Niloc, when you see a LIKE on your stuff in Facebook, you don't need to take it personally. It just means someone somewhere LIKES what you posted, with no romantic or conjugal affection.

Think of it as a child passing you by in the street, holding his Mother's hand, and then suddenly points at your hat and the logo on it and says, "That's neato !" It's just as harmless.

As for being called, "Honey," Rose does this to me all the time. Now if a complete stranger in Facebook =IS= addressing you as Honey, unless she is senior, I would be wary in that particular case. :)

I know thoughts are things but please don't read too much into things. I have people click LIKE on a lotta silly comments I make. I smile, sometimes I reply back if they added a comment below, but that's about it.

One last thing. Sometimes clicking LIKE on something, especially if it's an on-running conversation is an exception - as clicking on the last active sentence can signify a close. Take care ...
