Why...

Why...

A Poem by N!LoC

Why do I feel so sad ?

Moody and a little bit down

Feeling a little bit empty

A feeling that keeps coming around...

Why do I feel so lonely ?

In this little heart of mine

Why on earth do I feel this way ?

Reasons I keep trying to find...

Why do I crave closeness ?

From Someone, something, somewhere

For there's so many people around me

But not one even seems to care...

I understand your emotion, but its stated so blatantly. I don't have space to go deep into this poem, because everything is splayed out on the surface. I think a denser vocabulary and use of literary devices such as metaphor and allusion would do you good.

Finally after so long I get to read a N!LoC poem :D
This is exactly the way I feel and you've expressed my emotions in words.. Reading at first is scary because its quiet a wake up call, shock factor.. omg there are other people who feel this way too.. and who are in a similar situation. Your writing is so honest and genuine. God bless brother, great job!

So much loneliness felt in this one N, we can feel most alone when in a crowd of people who we don't relate to...nicely pen'd. Keep your chin up my friend.
