LOVE PLAY

LOVE PLAY

A Poem by Johnson
"

a short play on true love lives on

"
PRINCESS
have sat in silence wondering
Words were not enough to prove your furiousness
I keep pondering on the lies you fed my ears
You came in humility
I fell in love with your simplicity

JOHNSON
Have been a fool
My actions in the past
Has proven am not the best
Have been tested
And now I know am not the greatest

PRINCESS
life would have been fun
If you hadn't taken this turn
Now my entire world is burnt
I should have known your........

JOHNSON
Go ahead, call me what pleases you
I know have been a nightmare to you
I just feel so much guilt,
That my words and actions built
I know, what I did was wrong,
Tried to avoid it, and be strong

PRINCESS
Humanity changes gradually
Guess your grown up now
Your mind is made up
Think its time,I take a walk

JOHNSON
wait!
A second more, I could not deny,
Not apologizing was a lie.
I'm so sorry, from deep inside,
Clearly guilty, my hands are tied.
It was obviously, all my fault,
Am sorry that's coming from my inner vault
Forgive me,am so sorry

PRINCESS
I love you

JOHNSON
I will die if I don't have you back

PRINCESS
Am like a royalty in the hand of the immortal
My heart is yours to rule
Take the wheel
And make it your will

JOHNSON
Lend me your hand
And let me crown your land
With this diamond,
I seal my words of love towards you

It is fantastic.
Like a script it flowed well.
From the first stanza to last you did it best.
I like its rhythmic tone.
Lovely read friend.
