CorridorsA Poem by nikitathis is my first piece of writing for this site and I hope i come up to the standards. It is about the trials that one has to face in life to emerge successful...
I turn a corridor,yet again I see,
another corridor waiting for me. For as long as I can remember, it has been this way, almost as if the corridors are begging me to stay. But I know that's not true. They say corridors are tools, to help you in the "life" that you pursue. Even then at the end of the day needless to say, this "life" is yet to be found have still not made my presence count, have not built my niche am still struggling in every way. Still have to find the key to the door, I might own someday. Sometimes when the corridors get cold, I yearn for some luck. It seems hard to believe that my turn'll ever show up. But it is only me who writes my fate so this much i'll say; It is never too late to build the key to the door that'll set you free. so when I find that fabled door maybe, then I'll realize... that corridors? they're just the mind's game. that's when they'll start to fray, And it's only then truly that my old companions will beg me to stay.
