life's redemption

life's redemption

A Poem by Nihil
"

from my early years

"
It was a miracle that the car stopped when it did. But it was no miracle that she lived how she did.
Constance never had a real life. She had known no friends, except the ones in her head. She hadn’t seen the light in a few months. But now her god has granted her light once again… She was afraid. And with reason: with the light, came food and water… but the light always took something from her.
"Can you hear me? Come with me." Come? Is that somebody else? That’s not possible! … or is it? She stood, barely, but she stood. It’s her freedom there, opening the door. Something took her hand and rushed her out of her life. “Come, quickly. I’ll save you." She couldn’t say no…
She didn’t know where she was, but she ran. She only saw light. Constance wondered who was saving her. Suddenly, noises. The hand disappeared. Everything did. For the first and last time, she was happy.
