I listened to Geof's song version today as I re-read. Well worth a listen. He has a good voice that gives the lines a greater power to mesmerise.

I agree with Mauricio! This is sweetened music to my sullied ears. I say life is for the taking and the clock is just a bloody clock, I would rather not fear it or hear it, because this life is mine. I don't do dictatorships, only relationships.
