Chapter Thirty: Roki

We step through the black hole, and onto another planet. I spread my thoughts as far as they can go, which is the whole planet.

“That’s odd,” I remark.

“What?” Leo asks.

“I can read the entire planet,” I tell him. Normally, I can only read for about ten miles. Leo grins.

“I might be amplifying your power, like you can amplify mine,” he suggests. We smile continue to hold hands as I scan the planet.

“Not this one,” I tell him.

“They’ll be here,” he promises. “Meanwhile…” He pulls me in for a sweet kiss.
