About Different Peoples: The Fish People (Homo piscis)

~They do not put much value on family, and instead on surrounding yourself with those like you. As such, most fish-people don't associate outside of their subclass, for fear of being called a traitor. Children are separated from their mothers at birth and are cared for by special nurses in the hospitals.
~Members of a class live in a "building" (more like a bunch of living spaces carved out of a giant rock) together, and members of a subclass live in a certain "wing" (most "buildings" are starfish or seaweed shaped) together, and members of an age group live in a giant dorm together
~They don't care much for privacy, or even individualism at that. They are very vain and love to sing, look in mirrors, and have one-night-stands. Faithful marriage is practically unheard. Marriage itself is too, except in the top classes. In the case of a marriage, the two fish-people get their own room together, and are expected to support each other. Most have deemed this too hard to do (as they aren't really taught about feelings) and so choose not to marry.
~They have three seasons, the warm water season, the cold water season, and the turbulent water season (hot, cold, and rainy, basically)
~They have webbed fingers to help them move through the water more efficiently
~Everyone wears their hair long, and the longer the hair, the better.
~Men and women are treated as equals in everything. They can see that each gender has its pros and cons.
~Politics are important to some, and inconsequential to others. It depends on the person.
~Tails are not necessarily inherited; a class 6 subclass Murders, etc could be born to the noble family, and vice versa.
