When we rejoin everyone else, they’re in the middle of a battle with what looks like S.W.O.R.D agents.

“Where the hell have you two been?” Ky asks, furious.

“Who’s getting their butt kicked today?” Talon asks, ignoring the question. Ky runs off towards the building.

“S.W.O.R.D,” Bullutt responds, zipping around the battlefield. “We found a base. Ky’s checking inside for Pitch.”  Once we have defeated everyone, Ky comes back out and it’s already dark out.

“Time to go,” she says, and starts to leave.

“Was he there?” I ask.

“What do you think?” she snaps. “Although, I found the coordinates for all of the other bases. We’ll start checking them off after we save Darknight.” We head back to the REBEL Base and find Jay and Darkling snoozing on opposite couches. Talon and I sneak behind the couches and scream as loud as we can.

“WHAT THE FLAKON MUTE??” Darkling yells, bolting upright. Jay looks around wildly, eyes flashing with computerized warnings that only she can see and hear.

“What was that?” she demands.

“The two feathered idiots’ pranks,” Cresce tells her.

“‘Feathered idiots’??” I repeat incredulously.

“Do you know who you are talking to?” Talon asks. Cresce rolls her eyes and goes to her room, Bullutt and Dom following her.

“ Did you figure everything out?” Ky asks Jay.

“Yeah, I have it right here,” she waves her hand in front of her face, gesturing to her brain.

“Then what are we waiting for?”
