ForsakenA Poem by Yasmin
I plead to God, forgive my sins
Turn my wounds and weakness into strength I held my heart, proposed it away For I am only my heart today Tall I stand, for I'm never on my knees Rivers of blood, begging to heal I shook the hands of the devil a decade ago He gave me his powers and decided to let me go On a dark night, I sought mercy within his eyes "Protect them, die if you must, don't think twice" The oath I kept, never once broke Until my evil side grew and evolved They stole my light, my joy Tortured them, played with their remains like toys Even the devil was aware of my broken soul Misery that captivated me with every night fall I fought till my fangs filled my pride Oh Humans, how our worlds collide Revenge I served on a hot plate Flowing with anger, venom and hate Now I plead to God, burning my lungs out My children are yours, show them in clouds A constant reminder to humans, that you are the all mighty © 2021 YasminReviews
