Where to begin?

Where to begin?

A Poem by Nigel Mim Avedon

In the beginning it all made sense,
God errupted an entire atmosphere for His amusement,
Man envisioned from brown earth to being profuse elect,
Hard to imagine a man talking to himself,
No voice, death to dialect,
Where did it all go wrong??
Before Cain....Before Judas,
A man filled with lust,
A woman in whom truth gave homage to rust,
To think we were once nothing,
Pure ash no more than dust,
One fruit bite away from becoming like God,
Man and woman forbidden from returning,
Lest they commit a sin, a fraud,
The hottest of days,
Only sweat getting in the way of the cold,
The desert wind who used to be a friend,
The same now blows with purpose,
To uproot and bring the leisure to an end,
Man had yet to taste the fruits of their labour,
Oh the sweet savour,
His tomach roared with anger,
She stirred the pot faster and faster,
Before congregations,
Before fake pastors,
You could find God between your knees and the ground,
Before you could write anything on paper,
History brought down from a dictator,
Word of mouth brushed from an aurator,
Do you think Adam ever forgave Eve?
Robust dreams of Eve killing Eve,
No Seth, No Enosh, No Cain, No Abel,
What would today have been?

You have a great subject here - well done for tackling these deep mysteries! Lots of good things - well done.
Can I just point out a couple of typo slips - tomach instead of stomach and aurator instead of orator. There are some references that i don't understand but I'm not always good at interpreting - 'homage to rust' and 'robust dreams of Eve killing Eve'. Also trying to hard to get a rhyme can sometimes lose the sense of the words.
If you have time I have a similar creation story inspired by a visit to Sri lanka called 'Giai -the great earth spirit' you might like to read.
Thanks, Alan
