my ethiopia

my ethiopia

A Poem by Nida Lodi

The colorful butterflies u sent me flutters no more...
the paint we made for our roost has splattered all over the ground...
the hum of eternal bliss never comes to my ears...
for so long u were my ethiopia,
famishing me infinitely and then hurrying in all of a sudden.......
