The best compensation

I wrote this poem in extreme conditions when i was going through the most poignant experience of my life.I felt blistered and completely banged up and i had no other option to pour out my heart.

Why the emptiness in me is deepening

Why being without you is so struckening

Was it just a dream or a reality..

that until now.. you were here besides me

If it was real then why i m still troubling and  struggling for an escape

You can see in my heart the bites of darkness having a huge gape

You promised me you will always be there to wipe my tears

Then why i m standing alone on this  road with lots of fears

If you were really an angel...then why don't you come to control my heart’s pace

Why don't you come and assure me if its  just a nightmare or a reality to face

Why  every wound of my past is unfolding now

Getting more worsened as if someone's pricking a bow

I wanted to move ahead with you till eternity...and i needed ur shove

But now i doubt if it was really your love or you just COMPENSATED my love????
