Glenna

Glenna

A Poem by .nicole.

When I think your name,

I see my childhood.

Filled with silly stories and inside jokes,

Sleep overs and tee-ball.

You always make me smile,

No matter how much I want to cry.

You are my best friend,

And words can't describe how I feel.

How I would do anything for you,

How when I hear Jimmy Buffet I think of you.

I think of sitting on your dads car,

And playing hide and seek with my dog.

A wise man once said...

"It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them."

You are my old friend.

And I love to be stupid with you.

Well Glenna or anyone else would be pleased about your obvious fondness for them. Short and sweet, needs to say no more.

Nice.

This is so sweet! Very honest, simple but beautiful in it's own sense. I love it. Very nice work!
