Infatuation

Infatuation

A Poem by .nicole.

I miss the laughter that comes with infatuation
The joy that fills your being
The butterflies in your stomach
And the flutter of your heart

I haven't known these in ages
And I miss them
I want to know they're still attainable
I want to know I am still good enough
Good enough for joy and butterflies and fluttering hearts
Or are these things just not meant for me

Hi nicole.

in the 8th line of your poem, you forgot to add the "d" to "still goo enough"
(I won't tell anybody, Ok)

I liked your piece, btw. It brought those memories back to me - of wonderful anxiety and excitement in relationships, when relationships are still young... Isn't it a wonderful feeling!
