Life (age 15)

This poem literally took 15 minutes to write, It's very simple but personal. Hope you like it.

I smile as I've overcome the truth;

for through the darkness I found the light.

 

I laugh as I've felt the ache of sadness;

but in your shadow found the will to fight.

 

I love as I've felt the pain of deceit;

but in your arms felt my shattered stone mend.

 

I'm happy as i'm being swept away from society,

alone in humanities world only known to me and my one true friend <3
