A Stranger's Friend

A Stranger's Friend

A Poem by Silent_Whispers

There was a sort of deadness in her eyes. The dark shadows almost emulated an essence of self loathing and despair.

Her head seemed heavy, with her shoulders shrugged up so tight.

But yet, she smiled.

So I smiled back, as if to say it's okay to be in pain.

These few words are so deep. Anybody can use somebody sometimes. The saddest person always has a way to smile; it never hurts to extend a hand of friendship. Thank you for sharing.
