An apology for the unknown

An apology for the unknown

A Poem by Silent_Whispers

Darkness overcomes the light,
Shadows fade,
Your face appears,
Wrinkles as you smile.
Gazing into your eyes,
Searching for all meaning,
touching your face,
hands feel a buzz,
a connection,
hearts pounding,
can't find help,
can't hold it in,
wanting to let it all out,
too afraid to speak for what you might not say.
I want you to know.
I need you to know.

There's a great rhythm in this poem, flows brilliantly while reading down through it.
