Ignorant is the Heart of a Child

Not ignorant foolishness, but ignorance from worry.

Ignorant is the heart of a child.

The jets roar overhead,

Yet, you could hear the children laughing,

But do not fear for them

Their hearts are care free.

They have no inclination to the danger that looms above;

Heaven is the place of God and Angels.

Death cannot come from above,

For the Devil lies below

Amongst their fellow man.

Still the drums beat.

War beats yet gain in the hearts of men,

But do not fear for them,

They are afraid for themselves.

The Devil feeds not on the dead,

But on the fear of the living.

That is why he is the Great Tempter, Liar, Beast.

He turns our fear of God into a fear he can consume,

For fear is all consuming,

There is no easier way into a man’s heart.

But ignorance is bliss they say,

Ignorant is the heart of child.

So worry not, you children of God.
