Chapter 3A Chapter by black☠princessChapter 3 “Hey there pretty lady,” said a pompous stranger “Hi,” she replied. “Just my luck” she thought, “I get to talk to some creep while I’m supposed to be thinking of a plan.” “So what’s a cute girl like you doing sitting here all alone?” he said while putting the backs of his fingers on his right hand on her cheek grazing back and forth. While having his other hand on her thigh and slowly rising up. “Get your hands off me!” she said through gritted teeth “But why when we were having such a fun time?” he said with a huge smile coming across his face “Well, I suppose I could make an exception just this once.” She said with an innocent little voice and a sweet seductive face, with the most perfect amount of blush rising from her cheeks. He continued to sit there with a smirk implanted on his face, probably thinking this was his lucky day or something, but he was wronger than he had ever been before. Then she stood up and took a step closer to him. All the while making sure that she remained seductive in this single step. Next, she grabbed the hair on the back of his head and smashed it into the table. Everyone took one quick glance and just went back to what they were doing. Meanwhile, his head slowly began to rise, with blood gushing from his broken nose. However, before he could sit all the way up. She took his right hand and twisted his arm around his back. Slamming the right side of his head back onto the hard stone table and said angrily, “When I say get your hands off me, I suggest you get them the f**k off of me!” Her face was flat and cold. Then she pivoted and slowly began to walk away. As she did he sighed and said “chicks.” And with that she slammed his head into the table one more. Only this time when she did she broke the table right in half, leaving him unconscious. And though she had no idea how or when she had become so powerful. She walked on; she knew she could not rely on this new found power. There was no guarantee it would stay. So she began searching for a weapons shop. It took her nearly an hour before she found one. She walked in and grabbed a dagger and a casing for it that would fit on her thigh underneath her skirt. Along with that she also grabbed a couple cases of throwing knives. Then she walked up to the counter and placed the items on it. “Now what would a little lady such as yourself need these for?” asked the old and strong clerk behind the counter “Well that is not really any of your concern now is it?” she said coldly “Well no, I suppose it’s not. However I do have one final question.” the old man said with a smirk on his face as he ran the items through the register, “Will that be for here or to go?” She smiled a very shy smile and then was off. She walked outside and the sun was about to set. She walked to the town square into the park placed there. While walking down the dusty dirt path, she came across a large tree. She decided to lay down under it and watched the sun descend into its final twilight. The sky began to darken and the moon started to glow much more gloriously. She looked in awe at its beauty. The entire sky was so beautiful and peaceful, it was truly amazing. She got a strange feeling when she looked at it. It was almost like butterflies in her stomach, she had heard many people talk about it before or maybe it was adrenaline. Only it was much more powerful than that. Eventually as time grew, she drifted off into a deep slumber. She awoke the next morning. It such a beautiful day that is was just like in the fairytale books, birds singing and all. As she walked through the streets she started to realize it was far too quiet. Especially in such a large city such as this one; in fact not one person was out in the streets. It seemed empty and lonesome. She could sense that something was coming. She ran into an alley and hid behind a dumpster. Crouched and head tilted to the side, she spied around the bend of the dumpster. As she watch as soldiers past by. They seemed at ease. This meant they were probably staying in the city, but one thing didn’t make sense. If the soldiers were at ease and wondering through the city; then why were people so scared? Why was everyone cowering before them? Did they really have that kind of hold, were they really so fearsome that their own people flee before them? She stayed a couple minutes after they had passed and then came out. Surely enough, everything went back to normal once the soldiers had passed by; she looked around at all of the people curiously. No one seemed to be bothered or troubled by what had just happened except her. Then she walked up to a woman who was selling flowers. “Yes,” the florist said. “What’s going on, why does everyone fear the soldiers so much?” she whispered The florist looked surprised at this question, then she whispered, “I’m not allowed to talk about that,” she whispered in reply, “but I know who can.” “Do you know where the coffee shop is?” “Yes.” “Good that will make this go a lot faster. Ok, now from here head straight to the coffee shop and turn left then walk two blocks and turn right. Next, turn go into the seventh alley on the right side. There you will find some stairs, go down them and knock on the metal door twice. A man will open an eye slot and will ask you a question. Inside is a bar, pass the bar and go to a table in the back left corner there, will be a man in a brown colored cloak. He will answer any questions you may ask.” “Thank you.”
