Misery

Misery

A Poem by nicki_504

Misery

Misery the Entity that Strengthens

My misery, my fate

My fate is misery

Filled with endless days

Happiness has concluded its brief

Entry

It has left here, gone from this

Entity

Justified jealousy has took its place

Mine envy

Holy greed, endless hate

Jolly famine, guiltless pain

Nor was I or shall know certain

Truths

Better off yet, to preserve my

Youth

Maturity has come with little

Price to pay

It has awakened in me my

Vindictive way

Fermenting in the depths of

Lonesome brewed

Contriving emissions of scornful

Mute

I have driven coming closer to the

Outskirts

Of mine own reality frequented by rash

Outbursts

Vile creatures roam here rethinking the billowy

Clouds that float out

There

While I remain trapped in this cavern, solemnly in

Here

Dungeons form made of slab, bricks and

Stones

Stood strong in the midst of fledgling

Bones

There is worth in my misery seen

Yet

Impassioned by good fortune ready for the

Next

Part of this trial that

Will prove bountiful

“Wealth”

Oh how splendid this is, mine own piece of

Hell!
