Liars Lament

Liars Lament

If a cradle is built with bare hands then I need to smother this child and take out these nails. I've hammered my thumb and put my foot in my mouth, smelled the breath of a liar and slowly exhaled. I relished this thing not knowing what it is; This monsterous beast built from whispers and whims. I'm not so entertained anymore, this mosaic of failures is blended a little to closely. No more renovations for this room we built and no more hammering drum beats. you stabbed the last nail in the coffin that I built around my heart; plunge me back into the earth my dear, hide us from the world that you so fear.

I'm unsure why this came up when I did a search for acrostic poertry. Beyond that this is way too abstract for me. It sounds like there was supposed to be beautiful imagery, but I didn't get it.
