Steady breathing keeps me still, all these whispers in my ear.

Our pages lacking color are being cauterized with a story that may have no ending.

Lined the spine with subtlety and faithful leaps at candy coating the words we write upon our minds.

The sun shines, dies and empties the skies, leaving only stars to wish upon.

In these moments, Life, God, and the reason to live don’t enter my mind.

It’s your silken voice that chills my finger tips and calls me for more than I am.

I stand at the edge of a cliff, if words can accurately present how I feel.

Will you be my parachute? Will you clutch my hand as we fall into the void ahead?

I pray you will, because without your hand and your touch, I don’t feel that bravery is enough.

Allow me a moment to relapse, and just be with you.

To sing to you a melody fit for a queen,  as often are you compared in my dreams.
