Dancers Last Dance

Dancers Last Dance

A Poem by MandaBear
"

Just something i made up. I closed my eyes and started to type and this is what i came up with. Hope you like it:)

"
Her moves are what the world wants to see.
Dancing is what comes from the heart.
Today her colors will shine,
Her vibrant colors will come alive.
Moving my feet across the room,
Feeling the energy of a room once filled with sound.
Dancing is a art form like harmony to music.
Like a dancer to the dance.
As the curtains open,
The lights flash down on person center stage.
Like a thief of the night the dancer begins to steal your soul,
Lead into a world unknown with just a prance.
The play consumes you waiting for you take the bait.
The dancer knows how to make you move,
Knows where to take your heart strings.
Plays you like a puppet.
Her tension transfers through her body.
She hypnotizes the crowd with her body.
Moves so simple yet so hard to learn.
She makes it look so easy.
Final curtain call,
The last show; The last time to see these moves.
She wishes her dance could go on forever.
This is her last dance.

This totally reminds me of my last musical. This is how I felt, but now I wish I hadn't stopped or changed schools. :(

This is definitely something that I remember very deeply in my heart. I will always treasure the time I had on stage.

Very well written,

A very beautiful vision create and I like the strong description in the poem. The dancer can take your vision and thoughts away if they desire. I like the flow of the poem and the strong ending. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
