Truly equalA Poem by MandaBearSomething i came up with. I took some random quotes from famous people in history and made a poem. Hope you enjoy:)Four score and seven years ago, America had a dream, That one day all men would forever be created equal. But will we ever truly be created equal? Our forefathers before us strived to create a more perfect union. They fought many battles, argued over many issues. Stood up for what they believed in Sometimes winning, Sometimes losing. We still have the want to control man Be it by peace or by force. We judge a book by its cover It's human nature. How will we ever change if we never open the book? History has shown us this since the dawn of time. We judge what we cannot change, Yet, we fight to end the judging of others. We desire to avoid insult and desire to secure peace. To make this land safe and agreeable. To make no one feel as though they are being left behind. Showing everyone it's okay to be different. Four score and seven years ago Our forefathers imagined a world not yet seen. A world of peace and opportunity. Someday everyone would be equal. "If we don't stand for something, we will fall for anything" Let's be the few, the proud and conceive in liberty That All man are truly created equal.
