Mad Hatter At The White House

Mad Hatter At The White House

A Poem by MandaBear
"

I was looking a a picture of the white house and I instantly thought of the mad hatter. I hope you enjoy!

"
You have been invited to a most elegant,
most fun and defiantly
madding parties you will ever attend.
First you must fall in that rabbit hole
Falling down this seemingly never ending stroll
Until you come across this land tea's and pots
Maybe even find the funny bunny that hops
Purple and green flowers galore
Tea and crumpets and still more
Why don't I give you the grand tour
I am hoping your feet are not sore.
We begin at the front door of this house
What kind of house you ask?
Well, the most luxurious of all.
The white house.
Majestic history all around
Your heart begins to pound
As you walk in to see
A table just for the variety of tea's
Waiting for a bunny to be late,
Late for a very important date.
Or maybe a blue caterpillar,
Perhaps Tweedledee and Tweedledum?
Purple and green flowers galore,
Purple table clothes and green napkins,
What in the world is going on?
Its Quite Madding isn't it?
The Mad hatter might make you at designer hat
What do you know about that?
Maybe he will dance for us
Maybe he will teach us the Fudderwacking?
I hope you enjoyed our party at this fine out
At this grand and very old White house
Please do come again
And we shall make it a Wonderland again
