Message in a bottle

I saw a quote on someones profile so i turned it into a poem :) Hope you like it :)

Sounds of waves crashing against the shore

Only to recede and start all over again

Sometimes calming, Sometimes rough

It all ends the same; crashing at the shore

Seems as though not much goes on

Just crashing all day and night long

Oh, wait there is something in the water

I wonder what it could be?

As the waves draw the object closer 

The awe becomes ever greater

What could it be? Where has it come from?

Who sent it out into the void of the ocean?

Finally the object is close enough to reach

The anticipation comes to a halt

I bent down and grad the object

Only to find it is a bottle but no ordinary bottle.

No this bottle contained a message inside

Oh, what wisdom's does this treasure hold?

Perhaps a secret? Maybe a map?

Only one way to find out.

I opened the bottle removing the cork

I reached inside for the paper within

Opened the paper and read the message

After reading the message I put the paper back 

And put the bottle back in the ocean

Wondering next where the bottle may end up

I bet your wondering what secret the bottle held?

Well the message was simple.........

If you dont understand my silence, how will you understand my words?

I liked this! I think it is one of your better pieces! But int he second line, instead of "Only to recede and start all over again" I think it would sound better if you said, "Only to recede and start once again" It just sounds more poetic to me. there were one or two more lines like this, but nothing major. Great write!
