Wheels keep turning

Wheels keep turning

A Poem by MandaBear
"

This is my take on a View point if a shopping cart. Love or hate??

"
Sparkle, Sparkle, Shine.....

I'm brand new,

Never been used,

Waiting to be picked,

Everyone's going to fill me up.

..............................................................................................

Oh, this is my first day,

I am geared up and ready to roll.

My first ride is coming; Oh joy!

She grabs me with such soft hands;

Such a smooth drive.

...............................................................................................

She picks up a lovely shirt

I know she would look great in it.

She picks up another shirt

I hope she buys that one.

Oh, i'm having such a good time.

....................................................................................................

Our trips takes us all around.

I had such a great day!

I hope tomorrow is the same.

Putting her items on the counter,

Pays for them and leaves me.
........................................................................................................

Tomorrow has come and gone.

My sparkle and shine has turned to rust.

I have been beat up and left in the aisle.

Wheels broken and the same routine everyday.

I wish I could feel those soft hands again.
..........................................................................................................

I guess my time is done.

I have come to the wheel end.

Time now to reflect on the memories,

Of my first ride and those soft hands.

Sparkle, Sparkle, Shine.

Did you identify yourself with a motorcycle?
Great imagination, the story is nice and it flows quite well with the words.
Great piece, great job =D

Do you know why I love this? It strikes me as, yes, obviously about a shopping cart, but such a great analogy for living. Don't we all feel like that shopping cart? Don't we all look back in our life to that time long ago when we "sparkled and shined"? Great job, my friend.
