Titan sized StomachA Poem by MandaBearI took Homers quote :" For rarely are sons similar to their fathers: most are worse, and a few are better than their fathers and turned it into a poem." Hope you like it :)Sitting on a mountain Waiting for that day The day they take over. What would you do to hold your power? Swallow your competition. Maybe a rock? Fight it out. Let it go? One kid down, Second kid down, Third and fourth down, Fifth kid swallowed. No one can take your power now. Or so you think. There is one you didn't get. He will rise against you. His name is Zeus. A thunderbolt of energy. He will save his brothers and sisters. He will become a titan. A long journey to the top Finally made it to the mountain. A battle ensues between both Titans. Neither is giving up. Soon one is victor. The defeated is made to throw up. Freeing Zeus family from the evil clutches of their father. Finally the tyrant is beat. Later they form mount Olympus. And Zeus becomes worse than his father. Affair after Affair. Looks like candy-coated misery. I guess you could say like father like son But in this case that wouldn't be true. More like son is worse than father. Maybe he should have been swallowed instead of the rock.
