Fruit of the loom

This is about my favorite fruit. Tell me what you think :)

As the tree grows,

The leaves turn from brown to green,

The seeds of the apple being to spread.

Slowly maturing into an apple.

It rains on the tree giving it nutrition.

The rain travels all over reaching every wrinkle.

The seed is coming to the light.

Growing bigger and bigger by the day.

Finally just right for the pickin'

I take my latter and climb up high, 

Reaching for the apple in the sky.

Looking at the beautiful green color.

I think to my self as I stare at this apple;

"Your going to be awesome with peanut butter".

Licking my lips and thinking of my wonderful snack,

Getting a plate and a knife for my mid-afternoon grub.

Cutting into this perfecting made apple;

Admiring natures true beauty in hand.

Slices on a plate, getting a ready to dip.

Tasting peanut butter and granny smith apples.

Nothing better than eating my favorite apple with my favorite sandwich topping. Life is good.

lovely poem, i never would have thought of putting apple with peanut butter, i will have to try that one. I like the build up as you watch the fruit begin to ripen, and look forward to eating it. Appreciating a home grown healthy bite...it is good to think about where our food comes from, this had a nice feeling to it. thanks.
