Writer's BlockA Poem by MandaBearI took this quote "There is no such thing as writer's block for writers whose standards are low enough" by American poet William Stafford and interpreted it in my own way i hope you enjoy!Nothing to write about and can’t think of anything. Every idea coming through your mind doesn’t seem good enough. Wishing and hoping something will inspire you to write. The blank page is starting back at you as though it is mocking you. Tapping the pen on the desk waiting for any suggestions, Doodling on the edge of the paper… Then out of no where you get a spark of genius You quickly pick up your pen and write like the wind Soon your brainwaves are flowing out of control… The text is bringing the inspiration you have been longing for. As your fire starts to come to a close you look down at what you have written and realize…. You have only constituted a sentence. A mere start to the genuine genius you had. Now you are back where you started… An idea is in the making for the future. Just remember : "There is no such thing as writer's block for writers whose standards are low enough"
