A very touching piece...human memory has limitations in that it's so much easier to hold onto memories of people we see frequently or actions we perform often -- which is so exasperating in that the most precious memories are always of places and people we can no longer encounter as easily as we did before

Yes it is sad to find your memory suddenly lacking but it is great when you can remember the good old days. The mind works in mysterious ways..
