Hanging By A Moment

One June day changes two peoples lives forever with one simple answer..

I took her to our favorite spot 

The field down by the lake 

Where we had our first kiss 

The place my heart knew I found love 

I laid out a blanket for us to sit

Brought all her favorite food 

All of her favorite music to listen to 

Everything to make her happy 

I took her down our favorite spot 

Down by the lake into a small boat 

Took her around to see the sun set 

Smiled and took her soft hand in mine 

I told her how much I loved her 

No one took my heart as she had done 

Forever I would be with her 

I asked her a question the very one 

I got down on one knee

On our tiny boat in the lake by the field 

Took out the ring I had picked out and asked 

Will you marry me?
