Waiting For My Superman

I just want to feel loved like someone even cares 

To hear someone say I’m beautiful when I feel horrible 

To feel wanted when I feel unneeded 

To have a reason to smile when I feel so alone 

I just want to feel like I have a purpose in a life 

Like my feeling aren’t going to waste 

Someone out there loves me for who I really am 

I need a superman to rescue me 

I need those strong arms to tell me it’s okay 

I need someone to help me fight the dark 

I need a superhero for my kryptonite 

To help me know I’m worth saving 

When do I get to feel like Lois Lane?

Where is my superhero?

Where is my happy ending?

I’m waiting for my superman
