The Monster I've Become

We all have a dark side

You have turned me into a monster

What you did is now what I am doing 

You lied to me with your sweet nothings 

Now I’m lying with my sweet nothings 

You are everything I hoped I wouldn’t be

But I see now I’ve become what I hate the most 

I was your tool you worked your magic on 

Now I’ve found a tool of my own 

You turned me into a monster 

The monster has learned from the master 

Every trick and every lie out of your mouth 

Now has entered my own 

You took me down 

Now I’m taking him down 

You had my heart and smashed it 

Now I have his and it’s only a matter of time 

I turned myself into a monster 

I let myself be wrapped around your finger 

I let myself into your world 

I let myself become the monster 

I am the  monster 

I am only doing what was taught 

I learned from the best 

Monster has surpassed the master

A familiar story I have heard before and now some guy has fallen in love with someone that has lost an desire to have a true honest relationship. Sad revenge is what happens in the end.

But beyond that I like this work. Some darkness, anger and revenge all molded together into a hate filled rant to a useless ex love. Well Done.
