Delusion of Grandeur

Delusion of Grandeur

A Poem by MandaBear
"

I guess I am delusional...

"
I want you
I want my delusion of grandeur
I want everything to be true
I just want you
I don’t want to share you
I need you all to myself
I can’t stand the thought of you being touched or loved by anyone else
I hate knowing that’s the reality
But this isn’t all about me
What do you want?
What are your needs?
What are you desires?
Do you want me?
Am I your delusion of grandeur?
Do you want someone else?
Do you love them?
Do you have someone who wants to hold you?
Do you have someone that cares about you?
Do you need someone to stand beside you?
Do you need someone?
I want you
I want my delusion of grandeur
Do you want me?
What do you want?

A very strong emotional poem. People go through this a lot. It's a very human condition. We get caught up in our emotions and its hard to bring ourselves out of it. It's like a trap or being addicted to a drug, instead its an addiction to a person. This is very good, very moving.
