My Distraction

To my favorite distraction

Never let me go. Don’t let me fall 

Your arms are where I feel safe

Where my heart knows it’s warm 

You’re my worst distraction 

Always on my heart and soul 

Everything reminds me of you 

The way the wind blows and whistles 

The way the sun shines down 

Makes me wonder if you look at the same sky 

You affect me in ways you can’t imagine 

You make my heart sing and soul soar 

Hold me tight, hold me close 

Never let me go, never let me fall 

You are everything I ever wanted 

You’re my biggest distraction 

My body wants you so bad 

To be near you and feel your warmth 

To feel your touch all over 

Making my body tingle 

I want to kiss your lips 

Feel your sweet, soft lips on mine 

I need you to calm my storms 

My very desire that I have for you 

The desire coursing through my body 

Just at the thought of you 

You are my worst distraction 

Yet you are my greatest distraction

Wow this is a really great poem. I found one mistake though 'Everything remains me of you' is it meant to be 'Everything reminds me of you." But great job Manda I enjoyed reading this poem :)
