Let's Pretend

Inspired by Zaisham9393's poem called "Let's pretend until the end."

Let's pretend we don't see our feelings 

Let's pretend our love isn't real 

Let's pretend what we have isn't special 

Let's pretend it never happened 

We mask our feelings behind words 

We shelter ourselves within the truth 

We no longer wish to see whats right in front of us 

We choose to ignore our hearts desire 

Let's pretend we know our feelings 

Let's pretend our love is real 

Let's pretend what we have is special 

Let's pretend our love happened 

We shy away from knowing the truth 

We scare ourselves knowing the reality 

We know we have something but are afraid 

We know our love is there 

Let's just pretend.......It's love
