Do You Really Know?

I took a quote from William Shakespeare and turned it into a poem for a contest. I hope you enjoy! "We know what we are, but know not what we may be"- William Shakespeare

William Shakespeare 

We go through life searching for ourselves 

Trying to figure out if this path is better then the other 

Some times with success and other times failure 

Looking, hoping, and wanting to know the unknown

Life throws us many challenges to see what we can handle

Through the difficult times; we gain strength to move on

In good times; we gain the knowledge that we can be happy

Sad times; we gain hope in tomorrow being another day 

"We know what we are, but know not what we may be"

Life is a mystery with twists and turns 

We may not know all the answers 

We just have to start asking the right questions

I really like your use of parallelism in the second stanza through mentioning different times ("difficult times...," "good times...," and "sad times...")! Incorporating semicolons or dashes at the end of each of those individual lines would greatly increase each individual line's effect as well as bring those paralleled ideas together and make them more connected to form a clearer 'bigger picture'.

Your last two lines are gold! "We may not know all the answers/We just have to start asking the right questions" - thought provoking through the stark contrast between answers and questions.
