My Military Man

I want to feel your strong arms around me 

To know your warmth against my skin 

Your sweet soft lips against mine 

Your energy flowing through me 

My military man if you can hear my cry 

Let the sound of my heart reach yours

Let the cry of my soul that burns for you

Reach your soul and ignite the same flame 

Oh, my military man please find me 

Let me breach your walls 

Let me infiltrate your feelings

You make my heart race every time 

You make my body quiver with emotion

I want to feel your body against mine 

I want you to safe guard my soul 

My military man if you hear my cry 

Ambush my love for no one else

Counter attack my cold with your heat

I will flank your love for myself

I have waited so long for you

My heart reaches out to you from afar

Hoping, wishing, wanting you near.

Now, talking about the poem:
I enjoyed it :) I couldn't help but notice how it looks like a modern (both in topics and style) version ballad. That repetition in almost every verse "oh, my military man" gives the idea and the rhythm of a ballad, also the topic, the way the topic is developed ... it looks like a song from a lady of the middle ages trapped in a tower to his mighty knight, but all brought to our ages: You don't talk about knights anymore, you talk about soldiers. Loved it :)

My Military Man, is my Dad. He is my hero, and a strong hero figure in my life. Though some of this poem doesn't fit, I have the feeling os deep anguish when my dad is away from home. This could fit my mom really well.
