First crush

About first crush I had.

You were my first friend, love and first crush.

The first to steal my heart.

You were the one that googly eyes were made for.

You cast a spell on me.

I got up the courage to finally tell you how I felt.

After years of not telling you.

I finally told you that I liked you.

You said you already knew.

I couldn't believe you already knew.

Why didn't you say anything?

I can't help if I wore my heart on my sleeves.

I guess I was easier to read then I thought.

You were my first friend, love and first crush.

The apple of my eye.

My whole world of my younger years.

My diary was filled with your name.

I think of you from time to time.

I sometimes wonder what life would have been.

Why dwell in the what if's when you can look at what is to come.

Even if we didn't work out we are still friends.

You will always be in heart.

I will remember what could have been.

If there's one memory I don't want to lose is;

That you were my first crush.

Ah...indeed the first love is a memory to retain forever....somewhere in our internal "filing Cabinets" for a rainy day.....this is emotion packed and heartfelt, and for that, I enjoyed it...:)
