Barack Obama (President #44) (2009-Present)

Barack Obama (President #44) (2009-Present)

A Chapter by MandaBear
"

Forty Fourth President of the United States of America

"
Barack Obama is number 44.
Does not like ice cream. (Blasphemy!)
It is because of his time working at Baskin Robins.
I guess we can suppose he doesn't like banana splits,

Barack Obama Loves playing Scrabble.
He won a Grammy for Best spoken word Recording. (Dreams from my Father)
He reads Harry Potter Books to his oldest daughter.
He lived in Indonesia with his mother when his parents divorced.

Barack Obama was the first president with a blackberry.
Can you imagine if the founding fathers had a blackberry?
(I wonder if Thomas Jefferson would have just sent The Declaration of Independence?  as a text!})
He collects spider-man and Conan the Barbarian comics.
(Wouldn't that be an interesting combination Spider-man and Conan comic)

Barack Obama passed health care reform.
He passed the stimulus and passed wall street reform.
He passes fair sentencing act.
He turned around US auto industry.

This is Barack Obama number 44.
He likes scrabble.
First to have a blackberry.
He does not scream for ice cream.

well, praise the maker. at last, someone who has written about Obama without bashing him and his wife and kids....whatever your political leanings are, thank you for not making it ugly. i am sick to death of people bashing this man. he is doing the best he can with a congress which fights him tooth and nail on every issue and despises him because he is black. he inherited a nightmare form the worst president this country has ever seen. he is a powerless pawn in a power game run by a good ole boy network and is doing better than i expected him to do, not because he isn't intelligent, but because he is our first black president and i expected him to face opposition from every angle, which he has, but is handling it very well. good write and thank you for being respectful. he is, after all, our president!

You did an excellent job in this entire series of not revealing your political views, and not making it a recruiting tool for either the right or left. Instead, you taught us about the leaders of our country in an approachable and human way. Excellent job.

Very cool :-) I liked your whole presidents series.
Did you mean to write The Declaration of Independence? Instead of "The Deceleration of Independence"?

He is our President. I hope he don't screw-up everything up. Good description of a U.S President.
