Grover Cleveland ( President #22) (1885-1889)

Grover Cleveland ( President #22) (1885-1889)

A Chapter by MandaBear
"

Twenty-Second President of the United States of America

"
Grove Cleveland is number 22. (and 24 but we will see that later)
He was fat. How fat was he?
He was so fat he fit into two terms as president.
He was 260 pounds.

Grover Cleveland as president answered his own phone.
At least in his first term he did.
He wanted to go everything himself.
Sometimes not going to bed until 2 AM.

Grover Cleveland was a Veto president.
He said No to many of legislation's.
When he said no he meant No!
He had the record of the most veto's at 584!

Grover Cleveland worked for his uncle before being president.
He was also a assistant teacher to a school of the blind.
(No wonder he got into politics most of them are blind!)
He also was a lawyer. (Seems to be a requirement)

Grover Cleveland was the first president married in the white house.
He had 8 brothers and sisters.
He was 5th of the siblings.
He and his wife had 5 children together.

Well this is Grover Cleveland for now.
He will be back.
Of course not that you could miss him but I digress.
Stay tuned for the next episode of Grover Cleveland.

President Cleveland was a good President. Did his best to get the USA back on it feet. I like your description. Thank you for the history of a great president.

Is this a school project? because all the pieces are brilliant that i've read so far and you've written so many. You could be a political history major for sure. I can see you writing a thesis on the Presidents of America
