John Quincy Adams (President #6) (1825-1829)

A Chapter by MandaBear
"

Sixth President of the United States of America

"
John Quincy Adams was number 6.
He is the one the country picks.
He beat out Andrew Jackson.
There is no time for relaxing.

He traveled to France with his father.
He spoke French, Dutch, and German.
John Quincy Adams was a secretary and interpreter to Russia.
He was only 14 years old.

John Quincy Adams like to swim naked in the Potomac River.
Once he even had this clothes stolen while he was swimming.
He was also considered a sloppy dresser.
I guess you could say he didn't make a splash in fashion.

He was only 5'7.
With a shrill voice.
He married a foreign woman.
He was the first to do so.

John Quincy Adams served in the house of representatives.
While fighting against slavery.
He fought with all his might and bravery.
You could say he was very argumentative.

This is John Quincy Adams our 6th president.
Old Man Eloquent is what he is called.
He liked to write poems as I recall.
John Quincy Adams fought for what he thought was right, he was never hesitant.
